How long have you been a photographer ?
Marta Locklear started her journey in 2007 as a cliche "momtographer" photographing her kids. With an education in Fine Arts she quickly fell in love with the photography medium and grew a 15 year business photographing newborns, families, portraits, weddings, commerical, and stock photography. During this time she used digital and film photography in 35mm and medium format.
What is Marta's Editing background?
Marta has studied Fine Arts since elementary school as an artist, therefore has a keen knowledge in color theory. When she picked up photography it took learning the programs and editing, but the color theory came naturally. Once she incorporated film photography she then learned to match film to digital and quickly gained the attention of some of the top photographers around the world for her editing expertise. She has been editing her own work for 18 years and exclusively for a handful of photographers around the world for 7 years.
